This very much depends on what you are looking for from your fence, and how much you’re looking to spend.
PVC/ vinyl fencing is best for longevity and will outlive other types of wooden fence, plus is less maintenance but will have a higher installation cost. However it will save you in the long run with less to keep care of it.
